ANTHONY
RUSSO

Anthony has been in the entertainment and tap dance education industry for over 25 years. Born and raised into a family-owned dance studio (Performing Arts Centre, St Charles, MO) where he was classically trained in all forms, he left high school at 17 to tour with the longest running Tap Dance show in the world, Tap Dogs, and continued with touring contracts around the world for 18 years. While based in New York City (2003-2013), Russo had the privilege of dancing with many reputable companies including The Bad Boys Of Dance and Cirque Du Soleil.

His educational credits have spanned numerous dance conventions, colleges, and festivals around the world, in addition to his own touring in-studio tap dance clinic, Tap The Map, founded in 2006. Anthony was also awarded Outstanding Young Missourian 2013 for his educational contributions and scholarship facilitations.

Anthony's current passion project is his very own band, RUSSO & CO, who was just awarded STL Magazine's A-List "Best Original Band" 2024, where he has built himself a new platform to bring his original music and tap dancing to new platforms.
